I ordered this dress in a 1X, which according to the size chart is 44" through the bust and 39" through the waist. My bust typically measures 46"-47" and my waist 38-39" and this was much too big on me, despite the measurements indicating it should have been a little to small. I needed it for an event so I had to make it work (i.e. safety pin it on to my bra so I wouldn't flash anyone), otherwise I would have returned it. It is beautiful, so if you can get the sizing right I still recommend it.
